Third grade students in Scott Ritter’s class at Stout Elementary School got to meet and hear Matt Deighton. He has written several books for children including Molly and the Tornado. Deighton was one of several authors who visited classrooms in Topeka Public Schools on September 12th. The authors were in Topeka to participate in the annual Kansas Book Festival which was held September 13th at the Kansas Statehouse.
